    Dr Kavina did her medical degree and initial specialist physician training in General Medicine in the UK. She completed her physician exams and obtained the MRCP UK qualifications in 2009. After moving to Australia she pursued family medicine as a specialty.

    Dr Kavina has an interest and experience in sexual health having done genitourinary/sexual health specialty training in the UK and Brisbane. She also has an interest in adult medicine, chronic disease management, paediatrics and women’s health including antenatal care.

  • Dr Patricia Porras Rodriguez

    Dr Porras Rodriguez trained as a Medical Doctor in Venezuela before migrating to Australia in 2007. She has completed a Diploma in Child Health in Adelaide and finished her GP training in rural SA in 2018.

    Special Interests include Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Skin cancers and lesion removal, Management of chronic diseases.

    Dr Porras Rodriguez is fluent in Spanish, and is happy to consult with my patients in Spanish if they prefer.

    Bruce was a children’s intensive care nurse for many years. He studied medicine at Bond University and completed his hospital doctoring at Mater Children’s, Adult’s & Mother’s Hospitals as well as at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. He is trained and certified in reproductive and sexual health medicine by the Family Planning Alliance of Australia and is specially trained to do Implanon and IUD insertions and removals.

    He is certified by Civil Aviation (CASA) to conduct Pilot and Air Traffic Controller medicals. He is also an accredited railways medical examiner. Bruce is married with adult children.

    Dr Tania Macdonald completed a Bachelor of Medical Science before completing her MBBS in 2011. Dr Macdonald went on to work for 4 years in the public hospital system in Brisbane, with specialty placements in palliative care, respiratory medicine, emergency paediatrics and obstetrics to name a few.

    She began her GP training over 7 years ago, and during this time also undertook 2 years in Indigenous medicine in Brisbane. Dr Macdonald completed her fellowship under the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018, and since then has had 12 months specialty placements in both outpatient Orthopaedics and in Refugee Health.

    She has also worked in South Tasmania as a rural GP for 12 months.

    Dr Macdonald’s special areas of interest include (though are not limited to) women’s health, pediatrics, fracture management and chronic medical conditions. She has a special interest in mental health, including burnout and weight management. She has extensive experience with diabetes, lung disease and heart failure.

    In her spare time she enjoys distance running and adventures anywhere and everywhere with her active kids and husband.

    As a Remedial Massage Therapist, Clare enjoys working with people from all age groups and backgrounds. She understands the importance of reclaiming your lifestyle following setbacks, whether that be surgery, cancer treatment, injuries or simply tight muscles and pain that prevent you from doing what you love.

    Clare will assess where you need treatment and what may be causing the pain. Each massage treatment will be specific to your body, age, lifestyle and needs. A combination of techniques including Remedial, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Myo-fascial Release will be used to get an effective and longer-lasting result.

    This tailored approach is excellent for releasing patterns of chronic tension throughout the body, which arise from poor posture and time spent in front of a computer and is an effective treatment for chronic conditions resulting from stress, overuse or injury.
