FAQs

Fee Policy:

All accounts must be settled at the time of your consultation. Any unpaid accounts after 7 days will incur an additional $50 administration fee. No further appointments will be made until this fee is paid.

Missed Appointments and Cancellation Fee:

If you do not attend an appointment or can no longer attend an appointment, we request at least 3 hours’ notice. Failure to do so will incur a $50 DNA (did not attend) fee.

  • Nobody likes to be kept waiting. Our staff understand this and endeavours to manage all appointments as punctually as possible. However, due to the unpredictable nature of a medical practice, doctors occasionally run behind time. We regret any inconvenience caused due to these delays.

  • A standard appointment is usually booked for 15 minutes. Please ask the receptionist to book a longer consultation if you need a general check-up, have multiple or complex problems or need a consultation that will include counselling.

  • Patients must make an appointment to see a doctor. If you have more than one health concern or a complex issue to discuss, please request a longer appointment at the time of booking. A separate appointment must be made for each family member. Same day appointments are available for urgent cases.

  • Appointments can be made in person, over the phone or online via our website.

  • We understand that sometimes circumstances change and you may not be able to keep an appointment. Please let us know as far ahead as possible, so that the appointment can be allocated to another patient. Please refer to our Cancellation and Non-Attendance Policy.

  • Most prescriptions provide sufficient medication to last until your condition needs to be reviewed by your doctor. Prescriptions are not routinely written without consultation due to the need to determine the appropriate medications at the time.

  • To provide a certificate the doctor must see or speak to the patient for the condition listed on the certificate. It is illegal to back date medical certificates.

  • Telephone appointments are available for certain doctors. Please either book online or call our receptionists and they will assist you with any enquiries or take a message and arrange a time that will be mutually convenient to discuss your concerns with the doctor.
